Professor Ute Feucht is working as the Paediatrician in the Tshwane District Clinical Specialist Team in the Gauteng Province. She has a joint appointment with the Department of Paediatrics of the University of Pretoria, and is also the Director of the Research Centre for Maternal, Fetal, Newborn and Child Health Care Strategies of the University of Pretoria.

Associate Professor Dangor is the clinical research director at the world-renowned Vaccines and Infectious Diseases Analytics Research Unit (VIDA) at the University of the Witwatersrand. He also works as a paediatric pulmonologist at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and the Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada Private Hospital.
Ziyaad is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching at the University of Witwatersrand. He is the president of the South African Paediatric Association, and an examiner in the College of Paediatricians of South Africa. He is also an instructor with the Advanced Paediatric Life Support Group.

Dr Patrick is a research leader for the Pietermaritzburg paediatric MMed programme including research methodology skill development, protocol writing, and dissertation/manuscript writing-up. Dr Patrick has set up a generalist-run paediatric cardiology service, in close association with the paediatric cardiology service at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital. As a way of strengthening cardiology services for children, this service is now becoming a model for the development of generalist-run paediatric cardiology services in other regional hospitals in KZN.

Dr Mubaiwa ( MBCHB, FCPaed(SA) , MA (Tufts University, USA) is a Paediatric Neurologist and Head of the Division of Paediatric Neurology & Child Development at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital. He is a Director of the African Paediatric Fellowship Programme at UKZN which trains paediatricians from across the African continent. He is an advocate for children with special needs He is founding member of the Action in Autism Early Learning and Intervention Centre in Durban. . His research interests include HIV related developmental disorders, epilepsy and autism.

Prof. Bhimma is a Full Professor of Paediatrics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Specialist Paediatric Nephrologist at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in Mayville, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He is also Deputy Chair of the Biomedical Research Ethics Committee of the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is also a Certified Paediatric Nephrologist registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa, and has a Fellowship in Paediatric Nephrology from the International Society of Nephrology, having trained at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He is co-editor/academic editor of five peer-reviewed journals. His main research interest is in glomerular diseases in children, particularly nephrotic syndrome and paediatric hypertension. He also serves as a reviewer for several local and international journals in paediatrics and nephrology.
