Post-Publication Corrections Policy

At AJTCCM, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and integrity in scholarly publishing. In the event that errors are identified after publication, we follow a structured process to ensure corrections are made promptly and transparently.

Types of Corrections

We recognize several categories of post-publication corrections:

  • Errata: Minor errors (e.g., typographical mistakes, author affiliations) that do not affect the study’s conclusions.
  • Corrigenda: Author-initiated corrections for errors that may impact interpretation or replication of the findings.
  • Addenda: Additional clarifications or information that enhance the original article but were not included at the time of publication.
  • Retractions: Removal of articles due to major errors, ethical breaches, or research misconduct that compromise the validity of the work.

Correction Process

Corrections may be requested by authors, readers, or editors and will be assessed by our editorial team in consultation with subject matter experts as needed. The process follows these steps:

  1. Submission of a Correction Request: Errors can be reported via email to [email protected].
  2. Editorial Review: The request will be reviewed to determine its validity and the appropriate type of correction.
  3. Implementation: Approved corrections will be made, with a formal correction notice issued. Online versions will be updated with a linked correction statement. For print issues, corrections will be published in the next available edition.

Transparency and Access

All corrections will be clearly indicated within the article and accompanied by a formal notice detailing the nature of the change. Correction notices will remain permanently linked to the original publication to ensure full transparency.

Ethical Considerations

  • Authors are expected to cooperate fully in the correction process to uphold research integrity.
  • All correction requests will be handled objectively, and potential conflicts of interest will be managed accordingly.
