The AJHPE welcomes manuscripts from doctoral projects related to health professions education and leadership. As doctoral candidates are often required to produce evidence of at least one published manuscript, these submissions are handled personally by the editor-in-chief or the senior deputy editor.

 

• To ensure your submission is correctly identified, please include the text “PhD study” as part of your manuscript title.

Example: “PhD study: The assessment choices of health professions’ academics in the age of generative artificial intelligence.”

• The label “PhD study” is for editorial purposes only and will not appear in the final published manuscript.
• Please also send a 3-minute video of what advice you have for others who are, or are thinking about, pursuing a doctorate in health professions education (or similar).  This advice will accompany the manuscript (if accepted).
